Zagaleta New Course was inaugurated in 2005 and truly merges golf with nature thanks to designer Gaunt & Marnoch, who took great care to ensure the course blends in with in beautiful surroundings. This Par 70 is a playful 18 holes of wonderful obstacles and doglegs. Zagaleta New Course adds a new dimension to the course’s character and provides unforgettable sights along the way. The elegant and cosy Clubhouse offers magnificent views from the terrace to the Course and the spectacular lake. The golf course is set in a valley and has lots of scenic views. The holes have steep elevation changes and, coupled with the tight fairways, are very challenging for all but the low handicappers.  Traditional type bunkers are strategically placed and the course, with its rolling fairways, also provides many opportunities to hit the ball way over the protected barrancos, or gullies, to the large undulating greens beyond.
