Toro Bravo:

A unique experience that you will only live once you travel to this part of the world and organize your trip with us. The journey consists in spending a day at the Andalusian countryside sharing everything with a bullfighter and a rancher, visiting the fields where bulls and horses live in freedom. Also, you will live an amazing and very private moment: the “tienta” - which is the test that both bullfighter and rancher do to the cows to test their bravery, so they can choose which ones will conceive the future bulls-. After the “tienta”, you will enjoy lunch in the countryside together with the bullfighter and the rancher, right the very best moment to learn about bullfight history and culture from those who know the most about it.

The mountains in the north of Malaga, which connect eastern with western Andalusia are also the border with the Granada and Cordoba provinces and its landscape is very beautiful because of olive trees and vineyards where “Malaga wine” grows. The area also counts on a very specific traditional architecture and gastronomy. In this amazing environment, that reminds us to our very own Italian Tuscany, you will discover – together with the local inhabitants – the secrets of elaboration of our best Extra Virgin Olive Oil and Malaga wine.

Flamenco Show:

Flamenco is one of the most important musical components of Spain’s rich cultural history and folklore, considered a universal art and designated an Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity (2010). We propose a visit to the first winery with Certificate of Origin on the Costa del Sol, located only 30 minutes from Marbella, in Manilva área. Practically all of the cultivation in this territory is based on the Moscatel variety of Alexandria, a white grape that has a triple use: as table grapes, for raisins and to produce wine both dry and sweet. Our visit is private it is led by the winemaker, which allows us to deeply discover the history of a wine area with more than 500 years of history. In addition, you will sponsor your own grapevine, name it and receive at home a bottle of its wine every year. A very nice and symbolic gesture that helps recovering the wine industry of the region.

Fishing tourism:

The Costa del Sol is considered to be one of the most varied fishing venues in the world due to the influence of the warm currents of the Mediterranean Sea and its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean through the Straits of Gibraltar. If the sea has always fascinated you and if the life and activities of fishermen fills you with curiosity, come and live with us the life of a fisherman for a day.

The airport of Málaga is the main reference both for national and international flights: it is less than an hour away from Marbella, and there’s a direct bus from the Airport to Marbella which leaves from Terminal 3. If you have rented a car, you only have to leave the airport towards Cádiz – Algeciras, and drive through A-7 until you find the exit to Marbella. If you’re flying into Spain from the USA you’ll probably have to travel to Madrid-Barajas Adolfo Suárez Airport (Aena.es). From there you’ll have to either fly, take the fast speed AVE train (Renfe.com) or drive to Malaga and transfer from there to Marbella. The most convenient way to get to Marbella from Madrid is by the fast speed train taking just 2.5hrs or by flying taking only 1 hour and 15 mins.

From Gibraltar:

This airport, located on British soil, so far only provides air services to the United Kingdom; both regular and charter daily flights with conventional and low-cost carriers connecting Gibraltar with the three airports in London and the one in Manchester. Currently, there are only two airlines operating in this airport: British Airways and Monarch. A curious fact of this airport is that there are no facilities for special boarding. Passengers walk along the asphalt like in the past and friends and family can say goodbye to the travelers from the first floor of the cafeteria, which has an outdoor terrace.

From Seville:

As an alternative, it is also possible to fly to Seville or Jerez de la Frontera, but the distance is longer and the means of transport are not as comfortable as the ones in Málaga: in this case it is better to rent a car.

ON THE ROAD:

By car:

The best way to get from Malaga to Marbella is to drive. And if you’re on holiday that probably means you’re going to need to hire a car. As with almost all international airports, Malaga has a frankly baffling array of different car hire options to pick through. To avoid the scrum of the departures lounge, jump on the complimentary minibus to the offices of Niza, Helle Hollis or Enterprise situated a mere minute outside of the terminal. Inside the terminal you can find Sixt, Hertz and Europcar. If you’re unsure of which company to use, our Concierge can make the reservation for you to be dropped directly off at the villa. Our Mercedes Van are the most convenient option, so We take you to the villa directly, no mistake!

By taxi:

For sheer ease, you can’t beat jumping in a taxi. A taxi rank is situated outside the arrivals sidewalk of Terminal T3, level 0. It’s best to ask the driver, beforehand, how much a taxi is from Malaga to Marbella to ensure they don’t overcharge you. There are two transfer prices, and these are dependent on both times of the day and the day of the week. Transfer Price Band 1 is weekdays from 06.00 to 22.00 hrs. Transfer Price Band 2 is weekdays from 22.00 to 06.00 hrs, all day Saturdays, Sundays, public holidays, the August Feria and Holy Week. Band 2 transfer time is more expensive than Band 1. If you’re unsure of which company to use, our Concierge can make the reservation for you to be dropped directly off at the villa. Our Mercedes Van are the most convenient and luxury option to get to your villa directly, no mistake, no delay!

By bus:

It is possible to take a bus (Alsa.com) from Malaga airport to Marbella. But it’s a whole lot less convenient than driving via hire car or private transfer.

By train:

There isn’t a train connection from Malaga airport to Marbella.
