Sotogrande is an urbanization located in the South of Spain in the municipality of San Roque in the Campo de Gibraltar area. The multiple sports facilities and the wide range of accommodations have led Sotogrande to be considered as one of the main luxury residential areas in Spain and even Europe. With approximately a population of 2,584 inhabitants, some of the most influential families in Spain have their holiday homes in Sotogrande.

The creation of the Sanroqueña Urbanization of Sotogrande started randomly in 1962 when Joseph McMicking called Fredy Melian to entrust him the vision to look for a land in the Mediterranean that had to be the perfect place for the construction of elite urbanization.

The aim was to find a large farm with at least a kilometer of coastline, in addition to abundant water reserves and good accessibility.

Fredy Melian tour the Spanish Mediterranean coast completely by motorcycle looking for the perfect spot, and after having considered several areas they decided to build Sotogrande luxury villas in its current location.

In a short period of time, Sotogrande has become one of the most exclusive and discreet areas of the Mediterranean coast and model urbanization for luxury residential tourism and a paradise for those seeking a destination with quality and tranquility.
